The Portrait series contains ten large artworks that address identity through collage. The portraits have been influenced by history and portrait painting, surrealism and collage, and questions photography’s ability to create identity through the single image. The artworks are 36 x 47 inches, with one being 36 inches square, and are printed digitally on archival watercolor paper. Three prints of each artwork complete the edition. Five out of ten are highlighted here on the website.
