Below is Jasmine’s glass pendant in progress. She is making a wire wrapped cage design, but wants to incorporate a bead. We discussed choosing a bead that compliments the existing design, but also making reference to the her work previously. The brownish bead makes reference to the color palette in her two previous projects. Additionally, Jasmine usually likes symmetry. I am discussing using asymmetry for this project. The line in the glass pendant points to the bead. And only using one bead helps to create asymmetrical balance. So far she likes the design.
